DELTA 2-3 BACK IN ACTION
VSP GRAPHICS GROUP in West Seneca NY really went above and beyond wrapping my cargo sprinter. I was Delta 2-3 in the 82nd Airborne Division and this ride brings a lot of memories and the cause back to life.
Tim Payne was invited to North Tonawanda High School, Mr. Fezers' classroom. the invitation was to discuss the global war on terrorism, fighting in close combat, getting injured in war, and the recovery process. As Americans and citizen of this world we all have to remain vigilant.

Its funny how sometimes life just works out and God puts people in your path. Last Friday while at a Holiday Inn in Wilmington, Delaware, I was at breakfast promoting my story and sharing how God had impacted my life. The head coach of the James Madison University Field Hockey team overhear my conversation and asked me if I would do an impromptu speech and share my story with her team before thy headed to their game that day.
Of course I obliged, any chance to share my story and make an impact in someones life I will glady take it. And this time it seemed like God's divine intervention in the works. So That morning, what was into a breakfast at the Holiday Inn, turned into a pep talk with the young ladies from James Madison.
Remember, God is alway working wonders in your life and sometimes he shows up out of no where with an opportunity that could be as obvious as this one or as subtle as giving the homeless a dollar. Always do your best to walk with the Lord and be a kind and humble servant to him. You never know how much of an impact one small thing can be or when god is moving in your life and wants to share that love with others. :)
While others dressed up and enjoyed the ghoulish holiday that is Halloween, I decided it would be a perfect time to head to downtown Raleigh North Carolina and spread my message and the Word! While I was down there, I was able to meet some amazing people and even a T-rex! I shared my story with them all as they took time to stop and see what I was doing. I sold a large amount of book's and continued to preach the word. In a holiday that is usually filled with witches and warlocks, it felt good to be an outlier in the streets helping to spread joy and meeting some amazing people! Below are some photos from y epic 2016 Halloween!
The past two weeks have been a busy time for Tim. From meeting with President Jimmy Carter to starting off on a journey to Los Angeles as a part of the Allies for Independence Tour, it has always, been a memorable time.
On the 31st of July Tim was in Plains, Georgia with his mother, Shirley. They were in town to see President Jimmy Carter teach a Sunday School class. The Friday before, both Tim and his mother were speaking in Atlanta as guest speakers at the Uniting Forces to Support Military Caregivers Summit.
"It was incredible. Also listening to the statistics was horrifying with wounded in action soldiers. There are more than ever", Said Tim Payne of his experience of the event.
More soldiers served in Afghanistan and Iraq than the Vietnam's conflict and now more than ever, these service men and women need assistance. Uniting Forces to Support Military Caregivers Summit is an annual event that is held by Operation Family Caregiver at The Rosalynn Carter Center and is an event that helps spread the word and knowledge of this need. The organization that runs it, The Operation Family Caregiver, "coaches the families and friends of newly returning service members and veterans to manage difficult transitions."
Tuesday, August 8th Tim was back on the move, this time to Charlotte and The Independence Fund headquarters to start the journey to Los Angeles as a part of the Allies for Independence tour. As Best Tires Pro partners withThe Independence Fund, they have a message for the Nation.
"Through our partnership with The Independence Fund, Tires Pro is on a mission to mobilize wounded veterans through a program called Allies for Independence. Help us raise money to deliver customized all-terrain mobility devices to our nation's heroes - and help them regain their independence."
Tim is on a five-day trip to Los Angeles that will culminate with an appearance for the Allies For Independence tour at the L.A. Galaxy's match against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday evening at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. During the match, The Independence Fund, in partnership with Tires Pro, will present an all-terrain mobility device to wounded veteran and Army Sergeant William Tuey.
The trip has taken Tim from Oklahoma City to Flagstaff Arizona, then to Kingman, Arizona, and a run in with a fellow veteran. Here are some videos from his trip so far.
Spreading God's word and sharing the message of peace, Tim Payne continues on his journey. Helping others and sharing his story one day at a time is Tim's journey. Be sure to check back soon for another update on Tim's Journeys!!
