So today has been pretty awesome! I'm flying back to the USA. It's after three weeks in Brazil. I was preaching Jesus Christ and I was surprised by an upgrade. God is good always and he blesses those who serve him. Moral of the story is to serve God with your heart, your mind and all your power and he will reward you. Live by values, always place the mission first, never accept defeat, never leave a fallen person, and never quit. I learned the values when I was a private in the army, but I learned about Christ after I found myself convicted by the HOLY SPIRIT slaying bodies in the Stan!
I straight up murdered the enemy. I didn't tell my fire teams to engage, instead I took my soldiers Squad Automatic Weapon (249) and waiting for this knucklehead to take some more pop shots at the Base. He died after I gave him a 7 round bust of 5.56 to the chest and immediately the Holy Spirit came to me convicting me. I was scared (Job 4:15) and I was pleading for my life. I told the Holy Spirit I would serve God sharing the bible and he could take my legs. I got injured the following day after making that prayer. Now just being faithful and living with integrity for Christ has been the biggest blessing. I lost a lot but God healed me, he did not let me die. Read psalm 118:17-21kjv
It's been extremely busy for the past few days. First my flight was cancelled, so I had the chance to conduct a pre-deployment layout. I found my spare gloves which are essential. I later took off from Charlotte NC and made it into Sao Paulo early Tuesday morning.
Setting up a movie styled PowerPoint, it will blow you away!
It was an awesome experience talking to a reserve medical detachment at Ft. Bragg. Great people, and their the ones treating soldiers after they are blown to pieces.
I am hesitant sometimes to share what Jesus has done in my life (people don't want to hear it), but at the end of the day we need to be reminded this is a war! If you care about people, then stand in truth and arm yourself with the gospel. It's eternal life at stake.
The best part of my job is traveling and connecting with more people. I went up to Chicago to speak with ItemMaster. It's the sister company to Peapod. I met the CEO Dev about two years ago. I talk about values and working hard, more importantly it's about placing others needs above your own. That's how I made it through such torturous times. The soldiers around me lived the same way. It's a true testament of brotherhood. Those are the core values of Christ and his disciples!
The most amazing things I've lived through and how I strive to conduct myself are founded in the pages of the Bible. It's a historical collection of documents containing supernatural prophecies which came to pass. The witnesses recorded those prophecies and spread them around which grew to be known as the Christian faith, but we should be known as disciples of Jesus Christ. Even today many people experience God's supernatural events. The scriptures speak directly to your spirit. This scripture articulates what I'm pushing myself to do on a daily basis. We all face our creator when we die. God is Spirit and we must worship him in spirit and in truth.
